Antelope Canyon

Saturday February 1st, 2014 – 50 Mile and 50k

The Navajo name for the upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánílíní (where water runs through rock).  It’s a descriptive name in the sense of how the beautiful slot canyons were formed but doesn’t mention that your jaw will drop when you see the magical shapes, flowing curves of the walls, colors and contrasts ever changing through the daily journey of the sun.

Navajo Nation culture will be weaved into our event and you will walk (maybe a bit sore and wobbly) away with a new appreciation and love for what it means to have the environment be a central part of your life.  Join us at Ultra Adventures as we share the experience of running 50 miles or 50k around and through the Navajo land.
